In the first five months of 2026, the total number of CRE and China-Central Asia freight train trips reached 15,506, a year-on-year increase of 12.6 percent. The growth of CRE trains was particularly notable, as cross-border railway freight corridors operated efficiently and smoothly, providing strong support for China's economic and trade cooperation with other countries and the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
