On June 15, Xi'andong Railway Station was fully completed and unveiled, marking its readiness for operation. The station is a key node in Xi'an's "star-shaped" high-speed railway network, connecting multiple trunk lines including the Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway, Xi'an-Yan'an High Speed Railway and Xi'an-Ankang High Speed Railway, and will be linked to the Xi'an-Chongqing High Speed Railway in the long term. It will be put into operation simultaneously with the Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway. After completion, Xi'an will have a dual high speed railway hub structure consisting of Xi'anbei Railway Station and Xi'andong Railway Station, effectively diverting passenger flows and optimizing hub capacity layout.
